It's true that speed is more important if you can get a better overclock but understand for an AMD machine they run on Hypertransport. Certain timings such as 1T over 2T on an AMD system do make a large performance difference.

not large..IMMENSE. with 1T @ 470mhz i knock three seconds off super pi. thats right, i have conquered my white whale...broke 30 seconds, 28.6something i believe.

all of the gskill series are great o/c ers from my understanding they also come alot cheaper then most other brands aswell.
