Hey TF,
I have been using VGA on my Dell 1907FPt LCD monitor for some while now. I haven't notice anything bad about it so far. Great image quality and fast response time while gaming.
But I am now thinking of switching over to DVI. The monitor requires a DVI-D cable. I am wondering will switching over from VGA to DVI give me a better quality or better performing picture? Also, is it worth it to switch over from one to the other?
Thanks in advance

I don't know the specifics...but yes it's worth it. No adjustments such as moving the display on your screen, trying to match colors, etc. Analog does have a bit of quality loss as well, I'd recommend looking at this article on CNet...explains the differences/pros & cons nicely.

heck yes, dvi is a digital signal, where vga is analog. think of it this way, its basically the difference (not in image) but analogically between regular cable, and high def cable. you may not notice the difference, but its definately worth it.
