Memory frequency wrong

I was looking at my hardware with CPU-Z, and I noticed that it says that my memory frequency is 400Mhz. The Memory I have is 800 and when the computer boots it says that the memory is running at 800. So why is CPU-Z showing differently?

its because its DDR (double data rate) meaning it does double the work in 1 clock so the rating is double the frequency
