Does CPU oc'ing effect graphics performance

If I o'c my cpu will it make my computer faster, even though the cpu hardly ever runs at 100%? Also, will it give me better graphics performance?

Another oc'ing question. Does rasing the cpu voltage decrease the cpu's life much, cause I read on Tom's hardware or somewhere about a cpu only lasting 6 months before dying.

Increasing voltage and overclocking will decrease the lifespan of the CPU. Generally, thats like going from 10 years to 8.5 years of use before it dies.
