PSU connecters

ok, im trying to hook up all my power connecters to the different parts. each cord has two of the same connecter. do i only need one and leave the other disconnected and just let it sit there?

I think you mean the 4-pin molexes?...like these:

In that case, yes...it's ok to leave them there, if you aren't using them.

you will always have some left, it wont affect anything

I like to Ziptie/rubberband mine far far out of the way. (The extra connectors)

bleh, sorry for all the questions but some of the molex connectors have a 4-pin connecter too, what are those for?

yeah I was installing a 120mm fan the other day and pushed some wires out of the way when suddenly....ZAP! a spark arced from a spare molex connector to the chassis and my puter shut off.

I was quite scared but luckily whatever safety features my PSU has saved the puter.

ok, there are two plugs on my motherboard that i either dont have a cord for or its not long enough so do i need these: CD_IN and SPDIF_I??
