All experienced techs know that buying a hard drive is like buying fruit, you can never really tell if its good until you eat it, or use it in the hard drives case. I'm not concerned about whose brand is more reliable or "mine showed up DOA". Crappy hard drives happen. Simply put I want a hard drive with good seek times/latency, a low noise factor, is >160GB, <$100, and SATA. I'm shopping Newegg most everything I want is out of stock or gets reviewed as being super loud. This is for a primary gaming secondary DV editing machine and any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
