isnt it that two gts's only beats a gtx on high res. or low res. or sumthin

and buy the way whats up havent talked in ages bigapple

But I think SLI'd GTSs beats a single GTX, either way.

Without graphics this totals out at $663 so it leaves me pretty good options.
Now if I SLI 2 8800GTS' will it be better in the long run than getting one 8800GTX? Also there is a TON of brands of video cards on newegg, is there specific ones that are going to perform better?

Depends on what resolution you are going to play on. But I'd say get the GTX. SLI is not worth it. All the brands will perform the same. But the top brands are EVGA, XFX, and BFG.
