Please help, it tends to happen while watching video files.

I tranfered hard drive with os already installed. Then reinstalled sound and video drivers.

This has happened about 5 times

It was a 2.2ghz p4 with 1gb ram asus p5b. The os is 32 bit. The power supply is 450w.
 
that our ur CPU overheated because i see no cooler.... i assume u used no cooler???
 
I'm assuming that you tried to keep your previous vista install? That's usually asking for trouble after a large upgrade. This doesn't sound like a hardware problem to me, your description of the error message seems software-related. Still, I'd run a scandisk on your hard drive and a couple rounds of Memtest on your ram, just to be safe.
If those don't do anything for you, I'd try doing a repair install of Windows (not sure if Vista has one since I run XP) and/or just wiping your hd and installing it fresh.
 
i assumed he formatted and reinstalled.... but that can cause major issues.....
