My first post on this board! This should be fun. :)

I've been looking at new PC cases at Fry's Electronics, and Radio Shack. But everything seems to be hanging around $50 to $200. Does anyone know where I should look to buy a basic, inexpensive case? I'd rather not spend more than $30 on one if I can help it. (Something that would work well as a first-computer-building project.)

Any help would be great -- Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

This is a good budget case but is 49+ shipping Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER Centurion 532 RC-532-SKN1 Black Aluminum bezel, SECC chassis ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail

Or this one...39+ shipping but 10 dollar mail in rebate
Newegg.com - COOLER MASTER Elite 330 RC-330-KKN1-GP Black SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail

Search Newegg cases, and just select your price range in the powersearch menu.

You should get some good results :)
