Good morning all,

Hope everyone's doing well...

I'd like to ask about any possible ADVANCED way to disable startup applications other than the one at 'msconfig' run application...

Anything that can also allow me to view the hidden and unviewable start processes that can possibly not appear in the msconfig startup list.

And how can I end process of applications that whenever I try to end through the task manager it gives me 'access denied"...

Is there any program or advanced way to do it?

If you need further clarification please let me know!

Thanks in advance...

(also, is there also a way to uninstall programs which ask for password when uninstalling without enterting or with bypassing the password?)

Thanks again

well first off, im pretty sure the processes your trying to end could either be to do with norton or they are critical system processes. and second off msconfig is fine or use Ccleaner's start up feature but if your just not satisfied with this they try this.
START>RUN> tyep without quotes "regedit"> go to the following location:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
i think thats the location of items set to run on startup. by deleting a key it will remove it from startup.

ALSO the app your trying to remove wouldnt happen to be Macfee antivirus would it?
