Nah, all the above is DEAD WRONG! What you need is a AST 486DX4100, 32MB Memory, 4MB S3 vid, 160MB HDD, and the AST Bravo 145Watt PSU... you CANT go wrong with that! Oh GOD I'm old that I can actually remember having a DX4 100...

Yeah, my DREAM machine... I've just got a crappy PIV... of course its not upto everyone elses specs, just a 1.6 it does what I need and more... except for thief III.... damn "1.1 pixel shaders". 3D-Analyse wont even get me past that. Oh well, gives me a reason to get a new ATI! Then I can max out my settings for Pain Killer... ahhhhh... gaming goodness
