That doesn't really offer anymore re-assurance 1680 x 1050 for life it is! going with Viewsonic 22" VX2255wmb

There's really no problem running a set resolution if you have a nice setup....i suggest a 8800GTX if you can afford it and then you won't have to worry for awhile

Im actually planning to use my brothers lcd now, it has a 16ms response time, should that be a concern when playing games? Also are there any lcds capable of higher then 60hz for their native resolution?

16ms is a little high for gaming. Under 8ms is preferable. But try it and see, if theres ghosting.

they don't have one for morrowind or halo custom edition...

i played on a 17'' widescreen for about 2 years with 16ms and never noticed any ghosting...I think under 16ms is fine.

I have 5 ms now and its hard to compare....the monitor as a whole is just so much nicer than my other one. (dell 17'' LCD TV vs current Belinea 19'' Widescreen)
