GTX or GTS?

For 1600 x 1200, I would go with the GTS 640.....GTX if you have the money.

i dunno....at 1600x1200 there's a pretty large difference between the GTX and GTS....just look at tomshardware...

many of the games have an average of 65-85fps with the GTX while with the GTS they fall down to 40-45.....and falling below 60fps is unacceptable for me....drives me nuts.

Yea there difference is noticeable...however I would go with an 8800GTS 320 right now and it will hold you over for a while and then upgrade to the big bad 9 series. Even at 1600x1200 the 640 doesn't get THAT much of an increase and it will save you money. That's what I would do but if you have the money the GTX is powerful...
