Guide to starting up my new computer

Thanks for a lot of your guys answers to my questions, they were really helpful in my decision making. I was just wondering, when I finally get my system is there any guides, recommendations, or programs for the first procedures such as memory test ( for the various components ) , gfx card test, bios settings etc.

Er, don't follow RisingFalls advice... you'll end up breaking something if you just tryto fit things in random places... this guide seems good and it's what I will be using in the coming days:

yeah ive heard memtest is good. if u have a foppy. or now a usb key
