Price of 8800Ultra dropped down on newegg

Does this mean nVidia is preparing for a new release already? Or did they finally realize that Ultra's cost waaay too much.

well the next card is said to be the 9800 which will be in q4 this yr.

does anyone know the specs of a 9800, in another post they said it would be equivalent of 2 8800 hgtxs in sli. But it would probably cost the same as a house

I don't think they will name it 9800, because ATi already had an 9800.

i dont think the specs hacve yet been relased. well officially ne way.
what i do no from other ppls posts here is that it will be as fast as 2 8800 ultras. also will have over 1 teraflop of power.
