Well I didn't say that.
Though, most of the time they don't investigate deeply. So long as you lie and say you have no idea why it died and you have no idea what overclocking is. Most people get the RMA completed.

im just too scared i might do something bad to it hehe
it's kind of hard to "do something bad". Also the C2D is probably the easiest processor to overclock ever.
