Exporting Outlook

I have no problem using the Export tool to create a backup .pst file, however on some occasions the "select folder to export from" window will display Personal Folders & Archive Folders
How is best to approach this ?
Can I export both in one go ?
Do I need to bother about the Archive Folders ?
I have just exported the Personal Folder with all sub-folders selected & got away with that to date but am I missing something ?

I used to have trouble with this long ago, trying to guess what I needed to do...but now MS explains the easiest/best way step-by-step:

Although I'm not sure if that works on 2007...but it avoids doing any "Export"ing from within Outlook.
