Laptop Keyboard help?

The y button on the Laptop is sticky or can I say hard to press in while typing. I was wondering if there is a way to fix this or do I go ahead and take it to a computer shop. If I take it to a computer shop, how much will it cost to fix the key?

Repair shops usually have hourly rates that will vary greatly depending on your location and the skills of the techie. If you feel comfortable removing the cover of your laptop the keyboard is detachable, while it is out you can clean it with rubbing or denatured alcohol.
