Pentium Dual core/Turion X2

hey guys, I work over at office depot, and I know that the Turion x2s are faster than the pentium dual cores, but I was wondering if anyone could give me the breakdown on the windows performance index and what exactly the number refers to on the calculations per second (millions? hundreds of thousands?) because looking at it, the turion X2 only differs .2 from the Pentium Dual core, I thought the turion was a good bit better than the pentium dual core...
