Hello, I've been using my uncle computer since my old computer broke and want to have my own little gaming computer with a limited budget (1000 dollars). I'll be using my old DVD and CD Burner Drives and already have a seagate hard drive. Here my list

APEVIA X-Dreamer II ATXB4KLW Beige Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case ATX 420W power supply for AMD/Intel Power Supply (Cheap, looks nice)

GIGABYTE GA-N650SLI-DS4 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard (Seem a pretty good alternative asus 680i mobo)

EVGA 640-P2-N821-AR GeForce 8800GTS 640MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Video Card

Thermaltake W0093RU ATX 12V 2.0 Version 500W Power Supply

Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 Conroe 2.13GHz LGA 775 Processor

Now I'm having trouble finding the right RAM for the mobo I choosed I read some reviews it's picky on the memory. If you guys kindly help me out on the memory or suggest a better mobo I greatly appreciate your help.

nice motherboard, get the e6600 instead of the e6400 and get some gskill 2gb ram. Id also suggest an antec 900 case because theyre beautifully made and great cooling, but that does mean u need to get a psu, id say go with the crosair 520w psu =)

Why e6600? I don't see much of a difference, won't I get the same result if I OC it?

well firstly if u want to save money get the Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 and OC it to the same as the E6600 but if you want a more reliable rig get the E6600

Get the e6420 not the e6400- it has 2mb more cache for pretty much the same price. Are you looking to go SLi? If not look to save some $$$$$$ and go for the DS3.

Yes, as khan suggested go for the g.Skill ram.

As for power supply, I would go for this over the thermaltake. (i just wouldnt trust thermaltake) it has got 2x PCI-E power cables if you plan for SLi
