What's your DREAM RIG?

My dream computer would be the most powerful computer ever made in the entire space time continuum. Also it needs to be free and run on rainbows or dreams and print out gold pressed diamonds with platnum boxes.

My current system (see specs thread else where in the forum) but able to burn: quad layered blue-ray & holographic vesatile disc (able to hold 3.9 TB!) [both sides can have things on them & then like DVDs -- dual layer] couple hundred yottabyte hardrive, that much speed (download, upload, and CPU) also!

Most recent OS's (linux, unix, ubuntu, Vista, XP, etc)

That'd be one darn powerful computer -- at one 1/3 the size of normal computers. Hah ha ha!

my dream rig would be one that would make the rest dream and drool :D

i guess it would have 10 8800 GTX cards

100 gigz of ram

3000 gb of hard disk

processor in the shape of my future wife

powesupply as long as my *****

and lotsa room for expansion.. just like my granny's butt :freak:

geez, you guys are going mission impossible with this...lol..

I don't think we should be heading towards the "Yoda"byte...lol. We should be compressing data more, or something. I mean, imagine reformatting a yottabye. Ouch....

lol, and 10 8800GTXs, is just not logical and efficient. We'll be heading towards multi-core in graphics. The G92, will be multi-core I believe. So is the R700, I heard.

my dream is just to have my build working and started up. :(

I was soo excited when the package came and could not wait to get off work so i can sleep and assemble it after i get off school the next day. But pfft, the stupid thing does not work after hours and hours of assembly. Well, at least tomorrow is friday and then after that........ 2 more days of school and im out! :D

Grad day the next saturday :D woot woot hehe

but still i want to play on this new computer build. If i knew this was gonna happen i would have just waited till Q6600 goes to $275 or around that and build the computer at that time :(

YO big ! LOL who careS? the dude wanted a DREAM RIG which he himself would never build one.. so let us all share our wild dreams too LOL

speakin of dreams.. i had one last night.. someone forgot their DFI LANPARTY 680 mobo and an EVGA 8800 gtx video card in a community park. I picked the two pieces up, pretended to look for him and ran home

but when i woke up today in the morning i found my hands in my boxers as usual .. so i guess the 8800 gtx is now hanging on to me
