buying parts tomorrow, final thoughts?

I have been proposing builds and stuff for a long time and I have never actually stuck with one. Mainly that is because I thought that the tech was always being updated and couldn't bring myself to spend money on something that would be old in a week. Also, because I have never had a finalized budget. Now I do. It's less than I thought (1000 USD) so I have decided that I am going to try to OC this thing. Only a little at first, but then gradually more. With these crazy deals on Newegg, I decided now's the time. This is what I have come up with. Any suggestions are greatly welcomed. If something isn't compatible or doesn't OC well, please let me know. Also, could someone reccomend some decent aftermarket cooling? I wanna keep this thing cooooold. lol. Thanks!

The build is pretty solid. Go with the G.skill for sure.

Heres something to think about though. I know this is your first build but ever consider buying things open box? The P5N-E is very cheap open box and I am going to pick up one myself.

You would need to purchase an I/O panel and an SATA cable with it but still cheaper than retail. Just a suggestion is all.

Open box is the way to go for sure, but your build looks very nice.

if u have the money, then go with the corsair psu, but if u wanna save some money u should get the rosewill 550 one. its pretty good and cheap and performs really well.

other part looks fine. go with the gskill ram, and take a look at other mobos too. like the ds3 or the p6n

coz the combo is only for amd cpu's. only specific cpu is with the combo deal, and the one that u want is not with a combo
