Everything should be delivered on Friday. Working with a tight budget but I am figuring this all cost around $700 or so... I got the MB for $75 which I thought was a good price. The hard drive was free and the case is an old ATX case I had in the basement that I ripped out the PSU and repainted black. Maybe someday I will get a new case but I really like the way it turned out...

As for sound, I will plan on using the onboard, possibly using an old 16 bit pci sound card I used back in the day. I will be using a headset so the sound system isn't that big deal to me at this point. One question I have on this would be, Is it better to use the pci sound card rather than the onboard sound? My thinking would be it would free up MB resources by have the pci card process all the sound. Is this correct?
Plan on using it for gaming primarily...

What do you all think?

dude, for 700$ u can get a really good intel build man.
wait and see what others say, but i would have gone with and intel build man.
if u have time, think about it again, before it goes to step 3 in neweggs checkout process.

he's right...you could have gone with a ds3 and an e4300 or something like that.

However, it's already ordered and still quite a nice looking build to me.

It's already at step 5 and is due to be delivered this Friday.... It's ok, I'm comfortable with AMD... I was already thinking on building an comparable Intel system the next time I come into some money..
