Pen Drive Unrecognized

Help me please

Every Machine i plug my pen drive into i get Unrecognized Device ...

How can i fix this as i have alot of college work on there . that i need for monday otherwise im in the ****

Its a PQI 2GB Pen Drive
and im trying it on Windows XP Pro Machines and Linux UBUNTU

I would contact the manufacturer , sounds like it is busted. ask if they have a way to recover the data.
