CPU/Graphix card suggestions

Not really...It is DX10 ready though. But if you want DX10, you should really, go for the 8800 series, because I don't think the 8600GT will handle the DX10 as well. An 8600GT is like a 7600GT with DX10 capability.

hmm... i dunno..perhaps ill just get the 7950 for now..then when the dx10 games hit hard i can upgrade...

and for ram...any certain brands superior for DDR2?

but the thing is that the 8800s are the best dx9 cards out as well...
