Right now in my computer I have:
300gig PATA
250gig PATA

And on my shelf I have about 4 or 5 ones of other sizes.
I'm looking at a new computer, and it only has uses SATA HDDs.

What do you reccomend I do?
I know I could buy a converter, but is there another option?
(I don't have much extra money to go out and buy any more new hard drives)

that converts PATA to SATA. you will probably need SATA to PATA.

i couldnt find any SATA to PATA convertor so...... maybe you will have better lucky finding one.

The one I posted says:
"The Addonics IDE-Serial ATA converter is the most cost effective solution for converting standard IDE and ATAPI devices to the new Serial ATA interface standard."

Which is what I need. I have IDE devices that would need to be attached to a SATA interface.

The first newegg one would work, but the second one lets you "connect [a] SATA device to [an] IDE host controller" which is the opposite of what I need
