Diskeeper

Hi,

I got Diskeeper 2007 11.0 Build-703 and installed it and ran everything fine. But just now I can't defragment. It won't let me press the defragment button.
As you can see it is grayed out, and my Diskeeper is activated:



I don't know what the problem is, if I am activated it should work, but no all of a sudden it has to stop working for no reason whatsoever. Does anyone know what I could do?

There I fixed it, sorry about that.

Sounds like a need for reinstalling it. A part of the program got knocked out by something else. to see the image simply click on it to open a new window.

turn off ifast and auto and boot defragmentation

I never saw anything like that when running Diskkeeper on an old 98 system since I bought a retail cd. It was good mainly on the older versions of Windows while XP and Vista alike are much faster now. But you may still have to reinstall it if disabling those items doesn't work.

I reinstalled it and now it works. Weird, I don't know what happened but thanks for the help.

Don't feel too bad on that. I've run into this with various programs often enough. Otherwise Diskkeeper is a great program to have onhand. But it's still software and can see... ut ohs! at times.
