Hi guys, my friend is building a computer of his own, he wants to make it for gaming and is willing to pay about 600$ for it, he wants to spend 850$ but I honestly don't think its going to cost as much for what he wants to play on it. These are currently the things he is aiming to buy, can you give advice and maybe tell me what you think he should be getting instead and such?

I'd appreciate it if anyone could give us a hand figuring out the right parts for him to buy. He wants to make a computer that will be able to run games like Guildwars, Bf2 and games that are coming out on medium high settings without lagging.

absolutely, go with the EVGA 7900GS instead. Only 256, but it can outperform the other brands, also an outstanding overclocker :)
