Sata??!?

yes im posting it again..sata hard disk ..when the pc restarts due to voltage fluctuation the pc doesn detect the sata disk all of a sudden to which i need to restart to make it detect ...it also resets the time? any help?

Check your BIOS battery.

i changed the battery put in a new one but the time still gets reset..even the disk doesn get detected unless i restart..

Wait a second... If you are having voltage fluctuations, that shoudl raise a FAIRLY large red flag saying that your PSU might be failing... This can burn out other pieces of hardware in the PC... Do you know what the SOURCE of these fluctuations is?

they jus started all of a sudden but this is throughout the state...i really hope i didn burn anythin out...dun wanna have to buy a new pc...im broke as it is.
