I think the components, inside are touching the case. So the case is drawing heat away from the components, like a heatsink.

The case being warm, from the heat it draws from the components, will just dissipate the heat, into the air, or our hands, for that matter. I could be wrong.

like mini itx the heat output will be quite low due to efficiency probably only get noticeably warm whilst charging heres a passively cooled cpu case...
