two questions

ok this first question will sound pretty stupid and im sure it wont work i just want to ask, is DDR2 comaptible with my DDR mobo?

and secondly my ati x550 card is 256mb but on the box it says it can hit 512mb with a GB of system ram, can anyone help?

The first question is, no, it is not compatible. Although there are some motherboards, that support both DDR and DDR2 memory.

the second question means that the graphics card will reserve a 256mb of system ram and use it as graphics memory

enable in your bios, set teh arpeture size if its agp
