rqandom freezing

My dads computer is the problem now,

whenever he loads windows he gets to a point where it freezes. Firstly applications and folders freeze then the mouse goes.

Any ideas?

You should try repairing windows as files could be corrupted, if there is no improvements you should install windows, then if no improvements start looking at hardware which could be loads of them cpu, memory, hard drive, motherboard
