i just got a new XFX 8500GT and i play mostly starwars games but the card is ideling around 145degrees farenhieght is this norm and whae i go to play a graphcally intensive game it kicks me out as soon as it's done loading

make sure you dont have a pci card underneath the Video card because the card has a big heatsink and the PCi card under it might be blocking air flow

since u have that card im guessin u didnt have much to spend on a gcard. but i would have spend alittle extra and got the 8600gts worth it

yhea its not a very good card i retuned it and got a 8600 gts and it has the same prob!!! it ****es me off sorry about the double post my mistake
