Windows xp pro 32x or windows 64x

i was just wondering about the windows os version i should have if it is best to go with a 64x bit processor. Im going to be upgradeing to a amd 64 bit possessor soon and i was wondering if it would mean i would have to get the 64x bit windows version. Cause if there aint that many differences between the two i would just keep the normal 32 one cuase the 64x is compatible with a 32x still right? idk :S
sorry if this been posted did a search and came up with like 100 threads :S
im just wondering if there would be much of a difference if i got the 64x installed instead of the 32x idk

Just get 32-bit version. It will work with AMD 64 with no problems.....

yeah i figured as much just wondered if 64x had alot more features to go with it or something idk

32 Bit has more driver and software support. If you know that XP X64 has all your drivers you should be safe to go with Vista 64 Bit. If you are unsure then just go with the 32 Bit till the 64 it gets more support for it.
