hi guys i been around reading forums for ages but came acroos a problem thought i sign up ask and see if i can help anyone one my way about it, been buliding pc for a while. heard bout new motherboard reall gd one want in new system but i cant find a suppler that well ship to the uk..

I take it you're building/wanting a s939? The Asus board is good, but their support sux a big one.

I love my mobo. It's hard to beat a LanParty. MSI makes great boards, as well.

Not if he already has the other stuff. s939 ain't bad, but they're not cutting edge anymore. They do, however, still work.

I would go with AM2 as the X2 3600 and DDR2 memory are cheaper than any S939 and DDR memory...

im looking to spend about £1000 ($1900) on my systems i have none of these parts atm so what would you suggest im looking for the fastest most furture proof pc i can get.

cpu: Q6600 = £170
mobo: asus p5b delux = £80 (guess)
ram: 2x1gb geil = £100
gfx: 8800gts 320mb = £180 (can upgrade to a 8800gtx but theyre around £300)
hdd: 320gb seagate barracuda = £60
psu: coolermaster igreen 550W = £80
case: antec 900 = £70
optical drive: whatever make around £20
cpu hsf: tuniq tower ultra 120 = £40

total: £700 + Vat
