wow a good price on that one! hmm.. well if my ati card craps out ill just get a new cooler for my 7600gs and throw that in. i belive it can handle the resolution.

I'm very weird when it comes to LCD's becuase I know that monitors such as Samsungs are overall beautiful and better looking than a Hanns G or Viewsonic but when it comes down to it I own a Hanns G and I have used a Samsung and I wouldn't pay the extra money to get one unless i had a lot of cash to throw around. I just feel that i could put it to better use and stuff.

BTW 2ms response time isn't really needed....5ms is plenty fast enough really.

I think he has the extra cash, to go for the Samsung, because he was originally, planning on spending $250. But if he wants to save more money, than I agree with Sora and vernong, about the Hanns-G monitor. It is pretty decent for the price.

i have 2 lg 19 inch lcds and i love em there relitively cheap now as well and easily compare to samsung in quality and come with a better warrantie

I have a Hanns G 19" and a viewsonic VX2245 the viewsonic is my favourite but the 19" is useful to keep messenger on and do the general dual monitor solutions as it is much lower in resolution
