Hey guys, I was actually looking for a new community to join and stumbled upon this place.
Anyways, I'm looking to build/piece together a gaming computer. I was thinking about starting out with a barebones kit from tiger direct.
Visionman Intel Socket 775 Barebone Kit Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz QUAD-Core Asus P5N32-E SLI Motherboard 4GB DDR2-800 Gigabit LAN High Definition Audio NO Video 580 Watts CFF-VMBB at TigerDirect.com
I know that around mid July Intel's pricing is going to drop, so I'll more than likely hold out until then to see if it gets a little cheaper(I'm feeling the quad core). I know that there are still things I'll need to buy, but what is recommended to go with something along these lines? I'm looking to spend somewhere between $1500-2000. Of course the lower, the easier on me. I dont actually have to have this exact one, but relativly similar.
Thanks, James.
