if you can get the 2900XT, $100 bucks more but best for ya money.

2900XT is the worst video card for the money because

- It consumes a lot of power
- It produce a lot of heat
- It produce a lot of noise

Get the 8800GTS if you want the largest gaming performance gain...simple as that. The E6300 can be overclocked with motherboard later on but for now the 8 series card most definitely

ya q6600's own they hit 3.0 ghz easily but i've heard some require voltage increase some don't its odd... but i heard ppl mention auctions of them selling for 300-500 when its value is like 560$ i should have bought it at 300$ when i got the chance argh!!!

i get 3+ghz for 65 bucks. little voltage increase woot woot. not that im comparing my 3600 to a quad core c2d, i am not silly...just comparing the ghz.
