Overclocking a Sempron 3000+

Own the above CPU. Am getting an Athlon X2 this summer, but until then, can I overclock it in any way on my Asus Mainboard (A8V-MX)

PS: The Cpu is the 64bit, Skt 939 type

Of course you can overclock.

Restart...Open bios...Find Ht clocks and voltage and whatever else you may want.....be carefull with that CPU though, i had one and it fried after just bumping it up .2 ghz

200mhz is not that small really. difference of a q6600 and qx6700
