I have 2 Xeon 2.66ghz prcessors with the heatsinks that came with them. They have 60x60x25mm fans and are extremely loud. I also have a window in my case so there is nothing stopping the noise coming from my pc. I want quieter fans but I don't want to buy all new heatsinks and I don't have enough room to put in quieter, 80mm fans. So basically I need quiet 60x60x25mm fans that still have sufficient airflow to cool the stock heatsinks.

I found this fan that looks like it might work alright, but I also know very little about how loud decible levels actually are.

If any of you have any reccomendations that would be really helpful. Also, if any of you happen to know the specs for the stock intel heatsinks that would help too.

Thanks a ton,

why not just get new hsf.. spend like 50 bucks to get two that'll do the job without having to even turn the fan up, meaning it will stay quiet and keep cool.. if you're doing to spend money on a dual xeon machine, mine as well spend the money to keep 'em cool
