just a little clarification! if i want a gig of ram i should get 2 ddr 512 sticks as opposed to one sdram stick, correct?

sdram's practically obsolete ( i know you meant ddr sdram though).. getting two would be better, this way you have one stick reading at the time the other is sending, and visa-versa, it works great...
