Hey guys.
I wanna create a 2nd partition on my laptop's hard drive to install XP.

Now, I have an IBM Lenovo R60. So there is a hidden partition inside with the recovery files to reinstall the vista which is on it now with drivers etc...

Is it possible for me to format the disk, divide into 3 partitions (Vista, XP and Documents) and then install Vista and XP on their respective partitions, with the drivers for vista being on the hidden partition, and the drivers for XP downloaded from lenovo.com?

Would this create any problems?

Thanks!

Well first you would have to make sure you have all files necessary.

Then when you format the disc use XP first. With that disc you can create your 3 partitions. 1 for XP which should be about 10GB or more. Vista should be at least 20GB if not more. Then the last one. Make sure you dont erase the hidden partition. As it will be seen in the setup menu.

Install XP. Then Vista. It shouldnt create too much of a problem aside from storage space. Even with 120GB HDD space will still be limited depending on how much you plan on installing.
