Is a DVD-RW (8x) drive worth getting for burning DVD's?

no I dont burn dual layer disks thats why I use shrink ( it reduces the size). I burn on the fly using shrink and nero 6. I can also save it to my hd then burn later. I only use single and never have used a dual layer disk. Also the only disks I have burn were copyrighted. I'm just giving what the price on dual layer disks are going to be when they first comeout.

It takes no time at all to learn, well worth it I think. My buddy has an 8x and it takes roughly 45 minutes to make a copy of a DVD to the hdd, then burn it. Good luck!
