PS3 working on 22" gateway monitor

Hey, does anyone know if the PS3 will work on this monitor

and if so, it'll play at 720P or 1080i, right?

oh yeah, what about sound? can i just hook up my computer speakers for sound? or should i buy that audio add-on that hooks onto the bottom of the monitor for an input.

It should play on that monitor(though I'm not sure what type of connection you are going to use, somebody else will) And it's going to play in 720p ( which is better than 1080i, and you wouldn't notice any diff between 720p and 1080p on that small of a screen)

Your going to need an HDMI to DVI Converter( Check out newegg-http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Description=hdmi-dvi) Make sure that your monitor accepts the dvi cable end, and that should take care of the video.

For audio, you can use your vga cables(the two audio ones) and then get another adapter for it that goes from left & right composties to Headphone jack. Then you could just plug that into your speakers. One thing though, your monitor must be HDCP compliant in order to accept the signal.
