wow your school lets you use your cad cam machine, our teacher would never let anyone near it

Aslong as we have technician supervising we can use any large machine as it is my first mod Iam getting the technician to do any technical bits with large machines like using the rotary cutter for the casing as metal sparks flying everywhere and the smell of burning lubrication oil turns my stomach

Yeah my school is the same with not letting kids near the milling machine but luckily im a sixth former so i can use it fine without any supervision plus ive been trained to use them from industry experience so it makes life easier.

Our machine is good as its all enclosed in a plexy glass case and you just hook your laptop up to it with the design you want creating and it makes it for you following your coding and applying lubrication when you need to. The only thing it wont do is change bits to different sizes which is odd lol.
