Hello there. I recently broke my socket A athlon, and its getting pricey to keep buying new socket A processors (I experiment alot with my hardware) so I decided to get a newer socket mobo and a cheap, but much than the socket As that I have been using. Anyway. This is the motherboard im thinking of getting:
Newegg.com - ASUS A8V-XE Socket 939 VIA K8T890 ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
Its DDR standard is DDR400. I only want to buy a new CPU and motherboard. So, I have 3x256 RAM currently, and they are all PC2100 (DDR-266). Would they work in the motherboard. I know my current motherboard's standard is 333 and it only supports 266 and 333.

Thanks
