what is the difference/similarity between FSB, Bus Speed, n HTX?

i always think they mean the same thing, but their not, though i only know that FSB helps manages the clock frequencies in CPUs or something like that. Bus speed, to my knowledge, somehow gathers a huge sum of data to transfer from the CPU to the whole mobo in clock frequencies, reason this is a biggy for AMD CPUs. This also sounds similar to the how HTX *Hyper Transport Expansion* works too.

well, that's what i know, feel free to correct me for i have a attention span of pure stupidity on how this works X-D, really im just confused, even though i checked on wikipedia.org, bus speed is probably the only one i know more about.

FSB = Front Side Bus. This is the "bus speed" you refer to, it communicates with the whole board. Increasing this does raise the CPU speed but it can also raise speeds throughout the whole board.

I'm not honestly sure how the Hyper Transport link works, but I think it has something to do with multiplying the frequency to get faster speeds or something.
