agreed... hence why I have a 640 GTS

dude, just wait for the next ATI driver to come out. The current one is not very good for the HD 2900 XT, reason y it failed most benchmark tests against the 8800 GTS. A bunch of reviewers say that there is a problem with the current driver.

remember, dont always judge a graphics card by its first results, other wise u will get pwned later by better drivers.

I think i'd definately be on the fence if i was going to spend that much money on a gpu. Unfortunately all i can afford is an 8800gts 320mb, so no competition there.
