i no that... now but i sort of assumed the 6800 conroes to be EE but will the x6800 price drop too? Apparently the e6850 and 6540 are sort of unnecessary because for the same price u could upgrade to the quad-core and TXT respectively

Intel will not produce anymore E4300

However intel will release Pentium E21xx series on June, it is similar to E4xxx series but it have half the cache. It will be priced below $100 (about $70 or $80)

but will the x6800 price drop too?

I don't think they will drop its price.... The price of X6800 haven't changed from the day it came out.
