I installed vista on one of my computers just for giggles to check out the horror that I have heard about... I have vista home premium.. I don't seem to get this 3D effect with the windows like it shows everywhere. I figured how to toggle through them just not getting the awsome effect I was promised.

Are you using the Windows Key + Tab not jsut Alt+Tab?

i have did both .. I was peaking around my computer and they have a ranking scale for your computer to see if you can run the aero 3d thing and I guess you n eed a score over 3 and mine is 1 in graphics and 3d .. which I don't understand because I have a X1950 pro .

yeh i dont get it either but i get aero effect ...its because of the nvidia drivers tho ...

so ATI cards don't allow you to get the effect?
